On Saturday morning, members loaded onto the apparatus to attend the Golden Beach Independence Parade. This event is held every year and its great to see the community come together every year for this event.

After the parade food is provided and awards are given out for various entries, such as antique car, golf cart and float.

The day is capped off with fireworks, which are set off over the Patuxent River. Units stood by on land and in the river while the fireworks show was going on.

No incidents were reported for the day.

The Volunteers had a wonderful time and look forward to the event next year.
