2nd Due Working Fire

At 0105 hours on Thursday morning, Engine Companies 7, 2, 1, 9, and Charles 2, Truck 7, and EMS Stations 79, and 29 were alerted to the area of Mar-A-Lee Drive and Mar-A-Lee Court for a reported working house fire.

Engine 24(Lt. Cox) and Car 2(Sgt. Raley) made the response with 9 volunteers moments after dispatch. Chief 7, and Engine 72 arrived at 26363 Mar-A-Lee Court to a 2 story, split-foyer with fire showing from the second floor.

Engine 24 was next to arrive, the crew advanced a second line to the rear, and assisted with fire attack before redeploying to Division 1 to check for extension. Engine 24s driver began setting up water supply with Engine 74s driver upon his arrival.

Car 2 was assigned the RIT Group along with Engine 10 and Rescue Squad 7.

Units worked for about 20 minutes to bring the fire under control and then about another hour and a half hitting hot spots.

This is the third fire at this residence over the past couple years.
