At 2223 hours, Rescue Squad 2 responded to a motor vehicle accident on New Market Turner Road in the area of Oakleaf Circle.

Units arrived to find a single vehicle over the guardrail, in the woods with significant damage to the passenger side. Firefighters checked the surrounding area for possible patients and were advised by a witness that the operator walked away from the scene.

Maryland State Police were out with the operator a half a mile down from the scene and requested the ambulance for a check up.

Ambulance 299 transported to Medstar St. Mary's Hospital priority three.

Units operated for twenty minutes.
