First Due Shed Fire

On Saturday, at 1223 hours, Engine Companies 2, 7, 1, Truck 7, and EMS Station 29 were alerted to 26985 Laurel Grove Road for a reported shed on fire with extension to the woods.

Engine 23, Engine 24, and Chief 2A all made the response quickly after dispatch with 8 personnel. Engine 23 and the Assistant Chief arrived at 1230 hours to find a 20x20 shed on the ground, with a quickly spreading brush fire.

Engine 23 deployed the bumper line and made quick work of the same. Engine 74, 24, and Truck 7 all arrived shortly after and assisted with hitting hot spots and extinguishing the brush fire.

Chief 2A held the Laurel Grove Command and held the response to Companies 2 and 7. Units operated for about 45 minutes.
