At 0513 hours, Rescue Squad 2 was alerted to 17163 Teagues Point Road in Charles County for the shed fire.

As units went responding, additional information was relayed advising it was going to be a barn on fire. First arriving units found a barn well involved.

Crews worked for a couple hours bringing the fire under control. Calvert Tower 2 was set up and flowed its' master stream to knock the bulk of the fire down. Crews then utilized handlines to mop up hot spots.

The assignment was scaled back to units from Charles Stations 5 and 2 as an excavator was brought in to finish mopping up.

Units operated for just over two hours.
