At 1740 hours, Stations 22, 2, Charles 2, Charles 5, Truck 1 and EMS Stations 29 and Charles 2 were alerted to the 38300 block of Golden Beach Road for the working house fire. Due to an error in CAD and numerous units operating at a multi-alarm fire in Charles County, the assignment was upgraded bringing Station 7, Calvert Station 2 along with Tankers from Stations 9, 5 and 1

Chief 2B arrived on the scene of a double wide mobile home with heavy smoke showing. Charles Engine 22 arrived next laying into the scene with Engine 24 picking it up. Crews advanced several attack lines and found heavy fire throughout.

Crews were evacuated at one point due to the unstability of the floor. Once the bulk of the fire was knocked down crews mopped up hot spots and the assignment was scaled back.

Units operated on the scene for approximately three hours. Thanks to Engine 14 and Engine 93 for filling in at Station 2. With three crews operating in Charles County and those on this incident, every piece of equipment was utilized from Station 2.
