| While returning from a fill-in at Charles Station 10, so they could pay last respects to past Chief Gus Bowling, Engine 224 was alerted to transfer to Calvert Station 2, Prince Frederick. Calvert units were operating on a working fire off of Chaneyville Road, in Dunkirk.
Engine 224 (Sgt. Clark) was at the intersection of Route 4 and Route 231 when Calvert raised them and requested them to start towards the working house fire as a tanker.
Engine 224 shuttled three loads of water before returning to quarters and operated on the scene for approximately an hour and a half. |
