Serious Motor Vehicle Accident on Lockes Hill Road

Firefighters from Station 2 responded to a serious motor vehicle accident on Lockes Hill Road at New Market Turner Road. Initial reports indicated that a single occupant was trapped in the vehicle.

Chief 2 arrived on the scene reporting a minivan into a tree. Squad 2 arrived a short time later discovering that the patient was not trapped. Firefighters immediately began stabilizing the vehicle and providing basic life support.

The patient suffered a possible femur fracture and was flown to PG Trauma Center by Trooper 7.
