At 1221 hours, the working fire dispatch alerted Stations 2,22, 7, Charles 2, Charles 5, Water Supply 5, Truck 7 and EMS Stations 29 and Charles 2 for a report of a house fire at 39934 Miles Dotson Rd.

Fie Chief 2 (Raley) went enroute to the station and noted a large column of smoke in the area and thus requested two more tankers be added to the incident. This brought Engine 14 and Charles Tanker 1 to the call.

Engine 224 (Chief 2) arrived on the scene reporting the address to actually be on New Market Turner Road and it appeared to be a shed fully involved. Once a survey of the scene was completed, Chief 2 established the "New Market Turner Road Command" and advised he had a recreational camper that was on fire and to hold the assignment with units from Station 2, Charles Tanker 2 and the EMS unit.

Firefighters advanced a 1.75" atttack line making quick work of the fire. Command scaled the incident back to just Engine 224, who remained on the scene cooling a propane tank that had vented and mopping up hot spots. .

Units operated for just over an hour with the camper being a total loss.
