Live Fire Training in Bushwood

On Sunday morning firefighters loaded up on Engine 24 and the utility and headed to Station 5 to begin a day of live fire training in an acquired structure.
The structure, located at 23207 Bushwood City Road, had been prepared for the training by the volunteers at Station 5.
Crews were able to practice advancing lines, learn about fire behavior and build on teamwork through the various evolutions. There were six crews between the four departments and they all went thru three scenarios before the house was let go.
