Department Recieves Grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation |

On 10/2/2017 the MVFD was notified that they had received a grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation totaling $7,328.82. This grant purchases new equipment to expand our vehicle stabilization capabilities, specifically tiebacks.
This equipment will replace some worn out equipment, as well as expand our capabilities. We will post another story when the equipment arrives. ABOUT FIREHOUSE SUBS PUBLIC SAFETY FOUNDATION In 2005, the Firehouse Subs founders established the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation with the mission of providing funding, life-saving equipment, and educational opportunities to first-responders and public safety organizations. Through the non-profit 501(c)(3), Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has granted more than $29.5 million to hometown heroes in 46 states, Puerto Rico and Canada, including more than $1.4 million in Ohio. |
