Department Recieves Grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation

On 10/2/2017 the MVFD was notified that they had received a grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation totaling $7,328.82.
We are both excited and honored to be selected for this grant.

This grant purchases new equipment to expand our vehicle stabilization capabilities, specifically tiebacks.


The grant also purchases new rope rescue equipment including;
New CMC patient basket and packaging system as well as a patient harness
4 Aztek Kits
Arizona Vortex Tripod Accessories
New Harness
Multiple Pulleys, Carabiners, and other hardware
Rope, Prusiks, and other software.

This equipment will replace some worn out equipment, as well as expand our capabilities.

We will post another story when the equipment arrives.
