On Monday evening just before 1930 hours, Engine Companies 2, 1002, 1005, Tankers 2, 1002, 1005, Trucks 1003, and 7, and Squad 7 were alerted to 27480 Woodburn Hill Road for the reported Kitchen Fire.

Chief 2, Engine 23, Rescue 2, Tanker 2, and Tanker 24 went enroute with 15 within seconds of dispatch. While enroute, supplemental information was given to the units that the callers had called back advising the house was fully involved.

Chief 2 arrived, with a two story single family residence with fire throughout. Engine 23 and the Rescue arrived and went to work stretching lines and beginning fire attack.

Crews worked for about 30 minutes to bring the fire under control, and then several hours for overhaul and clean up.

Command was passed to Captain 2, and the incident was scaled back to Engine 23 and Rescue 2 when a second building fire assignment was alerted to Steak in a Sack in Charotte Hall at 2141 hours.
