Early Morning Accident

At 0651 hours, the station was alerted to 28169 Three Notch Road in the area of the Mechanicsville Building Supply, for the motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. Rescue Squad 2(FF Colomo) and Command 2 (DFC Hemming) made the response shortly after dispatch. Rescue Squad 2 arrived on the scene to find a T-bone style collision with a pedestrian struck. The crew from the Squad worked quickly to stabilize the vehicles and assess all three of the patients.

Ambulance 297 assessed the pedestrian that was involved and requested a helicopter, priority two category bravo. Ambulance 296 transported one, priority two patient to St. Mary's Hospital. The third patient refused treatment after being assessed by EMS.

Rescue Squad 2 handled the landing site.

Units operated for approximately one hour.
