At 1855 hours, Rescue Squad 2 was alerted with EMS Stations 29 and 19 to Point Lookout Road in the area of Hills Hide A Way for the motor vehicle accident.
As units went enroute, Fireboard Communications added SMALS to the incident and advised priority one response. Maryland State Police were on scene advising a head on collision,
The Rescue arrived, confirmed three vehicles in a head on style collision with entrapment in one of them. There were a total of five patients, three that would require transport and two who weren't injured.
The Rescue crew removed the passenger side of the vehicle to free the one trapped. Ambulance 196 and the medic transported to Medstar St. Mary's Hospital, priority one.
The other two patients were transported to Medstar St. Mary's Hospital by Ambulances 296 and 796.
Units remained on the scene assisting with reconstruction.
Units operated for approximately ninety minutes. |
