At 1335 hours, as units were clearing a car accident, Rescue Squad 2 was alerted to Budds Creek Road in the area of Aviation Yacht Club Road for the overturned ATV, reported with the operator pinned under it.

Rescue Squad 2 arrived to confirm an ATV on it's side with the operator pinned under it. The crew went to work using the Res-Q-Jacks and high pressure air bags to stabilize and eventually lift the vehicle in order to free the operator. Once the ATV was lifted, firefighters removed the roof with the Hurst Combi-Tool to complete the extrication.

A medevac was requested and Trooper 7 was alerted to the incident. Engine 23 established the landing site on Budds Creek Road at Thompson Corner Road.

Units operated on the scene for forty-five minutes.
