At 1852 hours, Squad 2, Charles Squad 2, EMS Stations 29, Charles 2, and the Medic unit were alerted to Three Notch Road in the area of DJ's One Stop Shop for a motor vehicle accident with one subject trapped.

Sergeant 2 arrived and advised he had one trapped, and a total of five patients. Chief 2A established the "Three Notch Road Command" and requested two medevacs for three patients, one being an infant. Rescue Squad 2 went to work removing some of the dash by hand and freed the patient.

With that, Charles Squad 2 was cancelled and rerouted for the Landing Zone at Station 2. Engine 24 and Brush 2 also worked the Landing Zone.

Crews worked for about an hour before clearing the scene.
