At 1207 hours, Rescue Squad 2 was alerted with EMS Stations 29, Charles 1002 and SMALS for the motor vehicle accident on Yowaiski Mill Road in the area of Tanyard Drive. Initial information advised of a vehicle into a tree with one unconscious.

Chief 2A arrived and confirmed one off the road into a tree. After further assessment, he advised he had one trapped and one out of the vehicle. Rescue Squad 2 and Fire Chief 2 arrived, with the Chief assuming the "Yowaiski Mill Road Command". The squad crew set up for extrication and removed the drivers door to free the occupant.

A medevac was requested, bringing Trooper 7 to the scene. Trooper 7 medevaced the driver to Prince George's General and the other patient signed a refusal of care.

Units operated for approximately an hour.
