At 1322 hours, units were alerted to a motor vehicle accident on Golden Beach Road at Pocahontas Drive. Initial reports advised of a utility pole being damaged with possible wires down.

Rescue Squad 2 (Sgt Raley) arrived with a single vehicle accident, confirming a utility pole snapped but no wires on the ground. The crew split with half securing the vehicle and the other assessing the patient.

Charles Paramedic Ambulance 27 arrived and took over patient care. They consulted to a trauma facility but transported to Charles Regional Medical Center.

The scene was turned over to law enforcement to await utility companies.
