Multiple Companies Operate on Point Lookout Road Brush Fire

| At 1213 hours, Station 2 was alerted for a woods fire in the area of 30339 Point Lookout Road in Helen.
Brush 2 (FF Tucker) responded and arrived on scene with fire making its way into the woods and requested an additional brush unit and tanker.
Engine 224 (Lt. Bryant) arrived on the scene, established the "Point Lookout Road Command", and requested an additional two companies for brush units.
Crews worked to contain and extinguish the fire, working on the incident for approximately two hours. |
