| At 0559 hours, Rescue Engine 22 and Ambulance 296 were alerted to the 27400 block of Thompson Corner Road for the motor vehicle accident, reported vehicle on fire and involving a utility pole.
Fire Chief 2 and Rescue Engine 22 went enroute and were advised that State Highway was on the scene with a vehicle well involved and the occupant out.
Units arrived to find a single vehicle in the middle of the road well off and the operator not complaining of any injuries. Firefighters stretched the bumper line and made quick work of the fire and EMS obtained a signed release from the operator. After further investigation a utility pole had not been hit during the collision.
Units operated on the scene for an hour and fifteen minutes. |
