At 1824 hours, Stations 22, 2, and EMS Stations 29 and Charles 2 were alerted to Golden Beach Road and Market Drive for the Personal Injury Accident. Units arrived to find a Property Damage Only Accident and returned to service.

At 1924 hours, Charles County alerted units to Leonardtown Road in the area of the St. Mary's County Line for the motor vehicle collision reported one overturned, and another on fire. With this, Chief 2 and Chief 2A made the determination to start that way with the Rescue Squad. Seconds later Charles County upgraded the assignment with subjects trapped in the vehicle on fire.

The crew split and went to work extinguishing the auto fire and assisting with patient care.

All three patients would require air medical transport and were airlifted to area trauma centers by Troopers 2 and 7.
