Saw the video, listened to the audio. Missed the big one in my own neighborhood! Anyway, looks like you all did a great job saving the house. Tough work around that debris at basement door. Good move upstairs. Stay safe!

Good stop on the attached garage fire yesterday. That thing was off... Not too often an attached garage burns to the ground with minimal damage to the house. Good tactics and hose line applications. Job well done!...couldn't find you guys on Facebook. WTH?

Not enough words can express my appreciation for you all in saving my house from the chimney fire yesterday, 10 Feb. I had a hard week and the chimney fire was the cherry on top to what I had endured earlier during the week.
The feeling of being powerless is not good to me but you all lifted the weight off my shoulders with the command of taking control and ensuring all was safe.
Thank you... thank you... I hope to not see you again under these circumstances.

I WANNA SAY THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICES ON NOV 19 2011. I WAS LUCKY THAT NO ONE WAS HURT WHEN I CROSSED ROUTE 5 FROM THE SOUTH BOUND SIDE AND WENT THROUGH THE FEILD ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE FARMERS MARKET. THEY ARE STILL NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED NOR DO I BUT THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE FOR ME.
I would just like to commend your fine department for the excellent 9/11 service that both you and the church put on this year marking the 10th anniversity of the attack on the United States of America. It is obvious to me and I'm sure others that you all have not forgotten all who lost their lives on this darkest of days.
Wouldn't it be nice if all the departments in St. Mary's County could get together on the 15th or 20th anniversity and show everyone that we all care for our departed brothers and sisters.
Your Fire Chief and President must be very proud of their members.

As a Former Member I look at this website quite often, it looks great & It brings back so many great memories. Thank you for all that you do in our community & keep up the good work!
I am thrilled to have browsed this website. I have always been a fan of firemen/women. I look highly on them. Their job is as dangerous as anyone could imagine. Saving lives is not that easy as one would think it is. Continue what you do best.
Thank you for the care you gave to Tammy and John. You guys are the BEST!

My son Eric was in an ATV accident on August 1, 2010 on Queentree Rd. He suffered a traumatic brain injury, fractured femur, fractured pelvis, fractured ribs, and a fractured sternum. He was in a coma for 1 1/2 months and in a Rehab hospital for a month. He is now home walking, talking, and doing great. There are no words that could express how greatful I am to eveyone that responded that day. If it wasn't for you he would not be here. Thank you and God bless you all.
Hello from Wausau, WI. I enjoyed looking at the pics of your retired equipment. I loved your old Seagrave. I have a die-cast model of a Seagrave just like it. I would like to take this time to invite you to check out the new Firefighters Tribute page on my website. Please click on the Firefighter button to go to the page. This page is not about me. It's about brave men and women who are firefighters. I would like to make this a very special page, done up as good as it can be. Please email me with any suggestions for improving the page. Thank you and have a great day.
Early this morning I was on FaceBook, and thought to look for you. It redirected me here to your site. I am so very impressed to find such an informative resource about our community right here online.
You may hear it frequently, but I don't think you can ever hear it enough - speaking from your neighborhood service area - We appreciate you so very, very much!!
Your outreach is fantastic, from attending past summers' Wicomico Shores' Kids Day at our waterfront, to when Santa comes past our home on your trucks. This website is an amazing resource for area news! Not only are you there when situations are dire, you are also there to raise awareness and bring smiles to all our faces. YOU ARE WONDERFUL!!
Keep up the good work!
Truly, Lisa Kapanoske Mechanicsville
